PipeCloud, the Finnish specialist in pipe spool fabrication management and manufacturing
execution software, is pleased to announce that Wolfard & Wessels Werktuigbouw B.V. has
become its newest client. The Hoogezand-based engineering contractor will deploy PipeCloud’s
MES platform to digitise and optimise its pipe prefabrication workflows.
Wolfard & Wessels brings decades of expertise in industrial pipework and mechanical construction
across the maritime, energy, and process industries. The platform will cover the full prefabrication
journey — from the point where engineering hands over to fabrication, right through to delivery of
finished pipe spools to the installation site. Planning, sales, production execution, and
management will be connected in a single system, giving the entire team real-time visibility across
the process and tighter control over schedules and delivery commitments.
A central objective of the implementation is a significant reduction in manual data entry. Rather
than re-keying information at each stage of the workflow, PipeCloud will carry data automatically
from one step to the next — eliminating a major source of errors and administrative burden that
affects fabrication operations across the industry.

The rollout will be phased, with Wolfard & Wessels progressively replacing paper-based processes
on the shop floor with digital workflows at each stage. This measured approach allows the team to
build confidence in the new system while delivering tangible improvements in visibility and control
from the outset.
