PipeCloud customers using AVEVA E3D Design can now export pipe spool PCF files straight into PipeCloud with a script built together with AVEVA’s engineering team. One batch import generates the full digital spool structure, machinery programs, work orders and weld maps, cutting work-planning effort by up to 80% for one customer.
Finnish MES specialist PipeCloud has welcomed Dutch engineering contractor Wolfard & Wessels Werktuigbouw as its newest client. The Hoogezand-based firm will deploy PipeCloud’s platform to digitise its pipe prefabrication workflows, cut manual data entry, and gain real-time visibility from engineering handover through to spool delivery.
PipeCloud has released a new integration with SSI’s ShipConstructor, connecting engineering data directly to pipe prefabrication planning and production. For shipyards running ShipConstructor, pipe spools can now move from export to fabrication-ready automatically, complete with materials, CNC instructions, weld maps, and QA traceability; no manual re-entry in between.
