PipeCloud’s Live factory view gives you a digital window into your own production facility. This simplified 3D model reflects your actual workshop layout and shows what’s happening and where, in real time. Whether you’re overseeing daily operations or helping new team members understand the flow, this visual overview brings clarity to complex production environments.
Why context matters
Understanding pipe prefabrication workflows can be difficult, especially when they span multiple work phases and areas of the shop. Live factory view helps office users like planners, supervisors, and managers instantly grasp the current state of production without walking the floor. It’s also a helpful tool for onboarding new team members or displaying production status on a large screen in common areas.
By showing where each work phase happens—cutting, bending, fitting, welding, and more—and whether tasks are underway, blocked, or completed, Live factory view provides a quick pulse of the entire operation.
What’s visible in the view
Live factory view presents a real-time 3D model of your workshop, with each workspace placed according to its actual location. The system automatically displays:
- A figure at each active workstation
- The bundle ID (work task) currently being worked on
- The status of each task, indicated by the bundle tag frame:
- No frame: TODO
- Dashed blinking: Prepared
- Solid green blinking: In Progress
- Dashed red: Blocked
- Dashed green: Post Production
- Solid green: Done
Clicking on any workspace opens a popover with more information, including assigned workers, current day’s bundle list, and capacity. If no bundles are scheduled, it will clearly show that too.
Fully integrated and always live
This view is live and fully connected to production data across PipeCloud. You can click on a production bundle tag in the 3D view to open its full details, check progress, or take further action. All data is pulled from the same centralized source in PipeCloud, ensuring everything is up to date, consistent, and easy to access directly.
